Job Description : SAP Basis Consultant
Role Purpose
- SAP Basis technical expert (7+ Years of Experience) with proven experience of leading and managing for SAP systems administration.
- SAP problem determination and troubleshooting skills.
- Develop and refine best practices for the Basis Administration group, leading team through continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of technical infrastructure and networking.
- Experience performing installations, upgrades, system copies, data refreshes, DR, archiving
- Experience with ECC, R/3, PI, SRM, EDI, HANA, BW, BOBJ, SAP NetWeaver, SSO Portal, and SAP Solution Manager.
- Able to Install and upgrade SAP Support packs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technically and coordinate with peers and leaders in the SAP administration & Troubleshooting.
- Capable and experienced getting hands on detailed root cause analysis and problem solving, leading team for immediate resolution of business-critical issues.
- Transports and change control.
- Work with Basis, Infrastructure and application teams to provide basis support in the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP applications.
- Ensure smooth, uninterrupted system operation, meeting SLAs – Proactively and consistently monitor performance of SAP systems and tune as necessary.
Mandatory Skills: SAP BASIS .
