JOB DESCRIPTION
- As an experienced SAP Basis Administrator at Texas Instruments, you will be responsible for managing the overall SAP environment. Your role will involve implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment, as well as handling tasks such as installation, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP systems. You will play a crucial role in designing interfaces between SAP and external systems, optimizing performance, and analyzing performance issues. Your expertise in SAP ECC/S4Hana installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of SAP systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- – Perform client administration activities including local client copy, remote client, client export/import, and creating & deleting clients.
- – Conduct backups, restores, and recovery for system refreshes.
- – Provide support 24/7, including on-call rotation and Saturday maintenance windows.
- – Configure printer or spool settings and manage SAP databases and applications through Solution Manager.
- – Expertise in SAP ECC/S4Hana installation, upgrade, refresh, transformation strategies, and implementation.
- – Engage in performance tuning, root cause analysis, version upgrades, support pack upgrades, kernel upgrades, and OS/DB Migration.
- – Configure Solution Manager, including monitoring, early watch alerts, and Focus build and Focus insight.
