JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Sr. Engineer SAP BASIS at Pall Corporation, you will be responsible for providing global and regional SAP technical support services. Your main duties will include: – Working at a technical level with an understanding of SAP, its underlying database, operating system, hardware platform, and networking principles. Experience with HANA DB would be a plus. – Having infrastructure/architecture awareness including networking, virtualization, middleware, and OS platform. Knowledge of BCP planning and Disaster Recovery is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment and its underlying components and interfaces (C4C, Vertex, OpenText, Ship ERP etc.). Scheduling and executing the SAP transport system.
– Providing performance tuning and problem analysis for SAP instances. Cloud-based deployment experience would be advantageous. Collaborating with cross-functional and ABAP teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
– Exposure to SAP Technologies and Solutions such as S4 HANA suite, Gateway, BTP (SAC/DSP/DM/Joule etc.). Ability to lead projects independently, create runbooks, project plans, and efficiently engage stakeholders.
