- Good understanding & Knowledge on SAP HANA Database architecture.
- Knowledge on Basic Linux operating system.
- HANA Installation, Upgrade, Renaming of HANA instance as part of Administration.
- Knowledge on HANA Backups and recovery concepts using traditional and Backint method.
- Performing DB restarts and troubleshooting issues related to same on MDC/Non-MDC environment [using both OS level commands & studio].
- Installing HANA 2.0 MDC end to end.
- Performing DB Client upgrade, add-on installations and handling issues related to same.
- Hana Version upgrade to different SPs in HANA 2.0 box.
- Required expertise on monitoring the alerts triggered from HANA studio and take necessary action to suppress the same.
- Applying licenses for HANA systems using OS/Studio environments.
- Audit log management and enable audit log for users.
- Enable/disable different types of traces for performance analysis.
- Performing end-end system health checks.
- Experience on HANA user management.
- Troubleshooting skills on issues related to Backup-recovery, Memory, CPU utilization and DB Performance tuning.
- Parameter configuration changes in HANA DB.
- Performing backup recovery and point in time recovery for both MDC and Non-MDC systems.
- Handling HANA Outages like system down, system hang and slowness situations by meeting required SLAs.
- Handling the P1 and P2 related incident and provide the timely solution to customer by meeting required KPIs.
