Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end SAP BASIS administration including installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
- Lead and support SAP HANA implementations, migrations (especially to HANA/Cloud), and performance optimization.
- Manage SAP Solution Manager (7.2 or later) for system monitoring, Charm, EWA configuration, and maintenance.
- Ensure system availability, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across all SAP components (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/BI, PI/PO, etc.).
- Support system copies, refreshes, client administration, and landscape management.
- Coordinate with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams for project and support activities.
- Implement and maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Support security and user administration in collaboration with the security team.
- Document technical procedures, processes, and operational guidelines.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration.
- Proven experience in SAP HANA implementation, upgrades, and migrations.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) configuration, monitoring, and Charm.
- Experience managing multiple SAP systems across Dev, QA, and Production landscapes.
- Knowledge of OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database administration.
- Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- SAP certifications in BASIS or HANA are a plus.
