Job Role : SAP Basis Consultant

Location : Bangalore

Job Summary

The Consultant (SAP Basis S/4HANA Upgrade & Migration) will be responsible for managing the upgrade and migration processes for SAP Basis S/4HANA systems, ensuring the smooth transition and optimal performance of the systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and execute sap basis upgrade projects to s/4hana, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system efficiency.
2. Collaborate within team to assess system requirements and develop upgrade strategies tailored to the organization’s needs.
3. Perform system migrations, including data migration, to ensure seamless transition to sap s/4hana.
4. Monitor system performance post upgrade and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the migration process.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on best practices for sap basis s/4hana systems.
6. Document all upgrade and migration processes, including configurations and troubleshooting steps, for future reference.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in sap basis administration and experience with sap s/4hana upgrade and migration projects.
2. Strong knowledge of system architecture, database management, and performance tuning in sap environments.
3. Experience with sap landscape transformations and system integration.
4. Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues during upgrades and migrations.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor upgrade projects efficiently.

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Technology Associate System Administration (SAP HANA) preferable.
