JOB DESCRIPTION
- As a SAP Basis Consultant at a fast-growing IT Services and Enterprise Applications organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering SAP implementation, managed services, and operational support to enterprise customers across various industries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- – Having 4 – 8 years of experience in SAP BASIS with expertise in handling ABAP and JAVA systems.
- – Demonstrating good communication skills to effectively manage bridge calls with clients.
- – Actively monitoring systems to ensure they are finely tuned and running smoothly.
- – Supporting project knowledge in handling various applications like BOBJ, BODS, Cloud connector, Content server, Open Text, with additional knowledge of web dispatcher.
- – Configuring SSL and SSO, including exchange and renewal of certificates, building trust between systems.
- – Providing technical support for SAP systems by examining technical infrastructures, transport administration, job scheduling, and implementing operational needs.
- – Maintaining multiple SAP instances across different environments (development, test, training, production) and ensuring the integrity of the SAP environment.
- – Introducing technical changes using structured approaches to minimize risk and enhance reliability, availability, and performance.
- – Configuring and managing the SAP printing subsystem for all instances.
- – Planning and executing SAP tuning strategies to maintain optimal performance.
- – Monitoring all SAP systems for work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, traces, and disk space.
- – Having knowledge in application upgrades and Client copies.
