JOB DESCRIPTION
- As a Senior SAP BASIS Administrator at YASH Technologies, you will be a key member of the Enterprise Systems team responsible for monitoring and administering SAP applications. Your role will involve troubleshooting, maintaining documentation on issues, changes to applications, and serving as a point of contact internally and externally. Automation of processes and troubleshooting issues with SAP systems will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- – Support & maintain an existing SAP landscape including ECC/ERP, Portal, PI, SLT, HANA, Business Objects, Data services & Solution Manager.
- – Perform system/client copies for large databases.
- – Conduct analytical reviews and provide recommendations for landscape improvements.
- – Monitor file system and database capacity, working with administrators to add space as needed.
- – Possess working knowledge of Windows, MS SQL Server, and FTP – Solution Manager experience is required.
- – Own, resolve, and test Basis related issues.
- – Monitor system and set up batch jobs. – Resolve general problems such as short dumps, OSS notes, and messages.
- – Conduct SAP performance monitoring and tuning, including Early Watch Report Generation and analysis.
- – Support integration with SAP Add-Ons and interfaces.
