Job Summary:
SAP Pune DC is hiring a skilled SAP Basis Senior Consultant to manage and guide a team of 10–15 L1 & L2 consultants across shifts. The role involves end-to-end SAP Basis administration, team leadership, and operational excellence in a 24×7 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage shift operations for a team of 10–15 SAP Basis consultants
- Deliver SAP Basis support across S/4HANA, Business Suite, EWM, and associated landscapes
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, transport management (Charm/CTMS)
- Handle data growth analysis, security updates, deletion/partitioning, system refreshes, and upgrades
- Manage SAP HANA, including performance optimization and troubleshooting across ERP, BW, BW4HANA
- Drive incident and change management in line with ITIL practices
- Create and maintain shift rosters, ensure task allocation and productivity improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure planning, system sizing, HA/DR strategies
- Maintain system documentation, support IT audits, and ensure compliance
- Provide RCA, support patching, upgrades, and kernel/database maintenance
- Train junior consultants and ensure knowledge sharing within the team
