Job description
Role & Responsibilities.
- Learn new or existing business solutions in SAPMM which is in use by the customer business.
- Understands or configures, documents and tests business transactions in SAPMM application according to the functional and technical requirements.
- Keeps close communication with ABAP development team.
- Knowledge in setting up organization structure of material management and relevant configuration like Purchase organization, valuation area plants, storage location, and warehouse structure etc.
- Assist Senior Consultants in Document preparation.
- Provide support wherever required.
- Knowledge of preparation of master data templates for various objects like material master, vendor master, excise master, Info-records, source list, purchase order.
- Preparing the user manual and imparting training to business process owners.
- Go-live preparation and post go live support.
- Responsible for troubleshooting the issues in the system and providing support with help of Seniors
- Raising Change Requests (CRs) and writing functional specifications for them.
- Preparing test data for testing CRs (Change Requests).
- There will be some interaction with other modules consultants.
- Preparing test cases, test scenarios and solution documents for the issues.
- Strong knowledge in building logics to make customized reports according to business scenarios.
- Learn blueprint creation which will support configuration of business scenarios.
- Understand the values and vision of the organization and align the activities accordingly.
- Protect Intellectual Property.
- Adherent to all the policies and procedures.
