Role & responsibilities

SAP Basis Hana Consultant.

Preferred candidate profile

Must-Have

• Rich experience in architecting and planning SAP Upgrade and database migration projects
• Working experience on different flavors of database DB2, Oracle, HANA and Sybase
• Hands on experience of implementation and conversion for S/4HANA solutions and SAP Sizing.
• Experienced on HANA Administration and migrating standard SAP Models to In-memory optimized models and Performance testing.
• Providing support of SAP production systems and associated support environments (i.e. non-prod environments), monitoring Supported Applications at the Basis layer, applying Patches, and administering the application logs.
• Performed multiple Homogeneous System Copy of SAP BW, R/3, APO, and ECC systems to establish training/break fix environments.
• Perform S/4 installation, upgrades, patches, applying support packages, system copies/refreshes and installation of add-on software components.
• ADS Configuration, BTP Monitoring and experience with Cloud Connector
• Solman configuration and Introscope troubleshooting.
• SAP JAVA and Portal Administration
• Performance tuning, critical troubleshooting activities and incident resolution.
• Setup and Configuration of Solution Manager Dashboards in order to monitor & administer the SAP systems.
• Monitoring CPU / HANA Memory Utilization, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP systems.
• Provide Production Support 24×5 with periodic on-call responsibilities 24*7.
• Performance optimization and tuning: deep experience with SQL traces to achieve Performance Impact Analysis.
• Strong working knowledge in UNIX/Linux and Windows operating system platforms.
• Mastery of the HANA knowledge including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.

Good-to-Have

• Knowledge in Retail Domain and Other functional Modules
• Certification in SAP S/4 HANA and OS/DB Migration will be a plus.
• Experience or knowledge in JIRA, Service Now.
