JOB DESCRIPTION :
Softmason Technologies India Pvt Ltd is looking for passionate and detail-oriented freshers who want to build a career in SAP Material Management (MM). The candidate will be trained in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes within SAP environments.
Job highlights
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related field with basic procurement or inventory knowledge and interest in SAP MM
- Assist in SAP MM implementation and support, configuration, testing, issue resolution, data validation, and documentation
- Hands-on SAP MM training with exposure to real-time projects and career growth opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Support:
- Assist in SAP MM module implementation and support activities
- Support basic configuration, testing, and issue resolution
- Work under senior consultants to understand real-time project execution
Core Learning Areas:
- Learn procurement processes including Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), and Goods Receipt (GR)
- Understand Inventory Management and Stock Handling
- Gain exposure to Vendor Master and Material Master data
Integration Support:
- Collaborate with other SAP modules like FI (Finance), SD (Sales), and PP (Production)
- Assist in data validation and basic migration activities
Business Process Understanding:
- Understand end-to-end procurement and supply chain workflows
- Support reporting and tracking of materials and inventory
Documentation & Training:
- Help prepare process documents and user manuals
- Participate in internal training sessions and workshops
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of procurement or inventory concepts
- Strong interest in SAP and ERP systems
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Basic SAP MM knowledge (course/certification is a plus)
- Familiarity with MS Excel
- Understanding of supply chain or logistics processes
