Job description
- We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer/Sr. Software Engineer SAP- to join our team.
- The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Configure and support SAP FI modules:
- General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting
- Perform end-to-end configuration based on business requirements
- Conduct business process analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design
- Handle integration with other modules such as MM, SD, and CO
- Prepare functional specifications for developments and enhancements
- Support testing activities:
- Unit Testing
- Integration Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Provide production support and resolve issues within SLA
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Have Skills
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration
- Solid understanding of:
- General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting
- Experience in end-to-end SAP FI implementation/support
- Knowledge of:
- Automatic Payment Program (APP)
- Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)
- Tax configuration
- Understanding of FI integration with MM/SD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong documentation skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with New GL / S/4HANA Finance
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps
- Experience with interfaces and IDocs
- Knowledge of local taxation / GST (India)
- SAP FI certification (preferred but not mandatory
