Job description
- Analyze client business requirements and translate them into effective SAP MM solutions.
- Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP MM functionalities in line with business needs.
- Lead and support SAP MM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.
- Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, solution demonstrations, and conference room pilots.
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams to deliver developments and enhancements.
- Identify process gaps and recommend business process improvements and system optimizations.
- Develop effort estimates, project documentation, and implementation plans.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.
- Support client stakeholders during testing, go-live, and hypercare phases.
- Contribute to organizational initiatives, knowledge management, and continuous improvement activities.
Technical Requirement - 3+ years of experience in SAP MM, including SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and support projects.
- Strong expertise in Purchasing, Pricing, Inventory Management, LIV, Account Determination, and Release Strategies.
- Hands-on experience in Material Master, Vendor Master, and Organizational Structure configuration.
- Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project experience.
- Ability to lead requirements gathering, solution design, fit-gap analysis, and go-live activities.
- Expertise in Special Procurement Processes such as Subcontracting, STO, and Consignment.
- Strong integration knowledge with SAP SD, FI/CO, and SAP/Non-SAP interfaces.
- Proven experience in large-scale implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support engagements.
- Ability to drive process improvements, solution optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, team leadership, and communication skills.
Additional Responsibility - Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability
- Good knowledge on software configuration management systems
- Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
- Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available
- Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions
- One or two industry domain knowledge
- Client Interfacing skills
- Project and Team management
