Responsibilities Required
- 6 to 10 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- Manage and support multiple SAP landscapes across development, QA, and production environments.
- Experience in SAP upgrades and migrations, including OS/DB migrations and cloud migrations.
- Proven experience in SAP system installations, upgrades, EHP upgrades, system refreshes, and client copies.
- Expertise in SAP HANA and Sybase administration, including backup/restore, HA/DR setup, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of SAP architecture design, system landscape planning, backup strategies, performance tuning, and stress testing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for SAP deployments and administration.
- Proficiency in SUSE Linux and other operating systems relevant to SAP environments.
- Familiarity with SAP/third-party tools like Solution Manager (SolMan), Focused Run (FRun), Landscape Management (LaMa), Avantra, ServiceNow, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for both ABAP and Java stacks.
- Ability to plan and execute scheduled activities such as HANA system replication, upgrades, table partitioning, and file system scaling.Preferred
- Strong multi-tasking skills and abilities to handle changing priorities in a fast paced environment
- ITIL Knowledge and Experience
- Strong customer focus and management of client expectations
- Should work with minimum supervision
