JOB DESCRIPTION

Infosys is seeking SAP Basis & HANA DB administration Consultant, with experience in SAP Upgrade, System Refresh, System Copy, setting up new SAP landscape, CHARM integration with ECC, other integrations with SAP, scheduling batch jobs, maintenance, & escalation of issues to respective teams. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot issues and provide support as needed.

 

Qualifications Basic
• Bachelor’s / Engineering’s degree. Will also consider a minimal of three-four years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 5-7 years of experience with Information Technology
• At least 5-7 years of experience working with SAP ECC
• At least 3 years of experience with SAP HANA DB

 

Preferred

  • Experience with SAP Basis administration for SAP ECC, HANA DB, Solution Manager, etc.
  • Experience with SAP HANA DB for ECC and other database systems.
  • Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, AIX and Windows servers.
  • Have familiarity with clustered OS environments, work in HA/DR set-up.
  • Perform system refreshes, Backup and restore in various databases.
  • Experience with SAP system upgrades and patches.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications in SAP administration or related areas.
  • Proven experience as an SAP Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture and modules.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving SAP system issues.
