Job Description :
- As a Senior SAP BASIS Specialist at EY, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the SAP BASIS infrastructure and operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring system stability, security, and high performance across complex SAP landscapes. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to implement best practices, troubleshoot technical issues, and support system upgrades, patches, and migrations. Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
- *Key Responsibilities*
- – Make decisions, optimize processes, manage resources, and oversee team management for task execution. – Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks, provide necessary tools and support, and evaluate performance to meet organizational goals. – Perform performance monitoring & tuning, problem analysis & resolution, and other activities to maintain system integrity for SAP administration on UNIX & Windows. – Handle System/System copy, ABAP + Java-dual stack, Add-on and Support Pack application and troubleshooting, Kernel Upgrade, Client copies and export-import, TMS administration and configuration, and troubleshooting Transport errors. – Monitor SAP system and analyze issues thoroughly, configure SAP parameters, set up operation modes and Logon groups, manage SAP role-based authorization, and troubleshoot spool/printer issues. – Apply OSS Notes, work with Single-Sign On and Web Dispatcher, manage SAP on public and private clouds, and provide support for cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
