Experience : 5–7 years of relevant SAP ABAP development experience.

Job description : 

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with S/4HANA expertise to design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications. The role involves working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with S/4HANA best practices and performance standards.

Responsibilities :

           ABAP Development & Enhancements

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF)
• Develop and optimize ABAP on HANA code using HANA-compliant syntax and performance techniques
• Perform custom code remediation and adaptation for ECC to S/4HANA migration

S/4HANA-Specific Development

• Experience working with S/4HANA data models (ACDOCA, MATDOC, CDS-based architecture)
• Develop and extend Core Data Services (CDS Views) including annotations and associations
• Utilize AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and Open SQL enhancements
• Knowledge of HANA performance optimization, SQL trace, and code push-down techniques

Interfaces & Integrations

• Develop and support IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData services, and Web Services
• Work with SAP Gateway for OData service development and extensions
• Experience integrating SAP with third-party systems and middleware (PI/PO, CPI preferred)

   Skills :

• Expertise in ABAP on HANA and S/4HANA architecture
• Proficiency in CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, and Performance Tuning
• Strong experience in RICEF objects
• Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, OData services
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Forms / SmartForms 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with functional teams
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies preferred

Functional Knowledge : 

• Working knowledge of SAP functional areas such as FI, CO, MM, SD
• Understanding of S/4HANA simplification list and data model changes

Preferred :

• Experience in ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development basics
• Exposure to SAP CPI / PI/PO integrations
• SAP ABAP or S/4HANA certification
