Job Description:

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated SAP ABAP Consultant to join our SAP technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting custom SAP solutions using ABAP programming. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
  • Support SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, HCM, etc., through custom developments and enhancements.
  • Participate in SAP upgrades, patching, and testing activities.
  • Document technical designs and maintain development standards.
  • Provide support for production issues and change requests.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong knowledge of classical and object-oriented ABAP.
  • Experience with BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and ALV reports.
  • Familiarity with IDocs, RFCs, and OData services.
  • Good understanding of SAP module integration and business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and CDS views.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP Workflow and Adobe Forms.
  • SAP Certification in ABAP is an advantage.
