Job description
Job Title: SAP BASIS Consultant
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with 69 years of hands-on experience in SAP system administration and support. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting SAP landscapes to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day SAP BASIS support for production and non-production environments
- Monitor system performance and ensure system availability (24/7 support if required)
- Perform SAP installations, upgrades, and patching activities
- Handle client copies, system refreshes, and transport management (STMS)
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with functional/technical teams
- Manage user administration and authorization support (basic level)
- Perform kernel upgrades and database support activities
- Monitor background jobs, dumps, spool requests, and system logs
- Work on backup and recovery procedures
- Ensure compliance with SLA requirements and incident management
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams for OS/DB related issues
