Job description
Role & responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Manage SAP transports, client copies, and system refresh activities
- Handle SAP kernel upgrades, patches, and version upgrades
- Monitor system health (CPU, memory, disk, background jobs)
- Configure and manage SAP HANA / database administration
- Manage user roles, authorizations, and security settings (basic level)
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
- Work with functional and technical teams for issue resolution
Preferred candidate profile:
- Strong experience in SAP Basis Administration
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC / S4HANA systems
- Knowledge of SAP HANA database administration
- Experience in system refresh, transport management, and upgrades
- Understanding of OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database (Oracle/HANA/DB2)
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
