Job responsibilities:

1. SAP Functional module Configuration and Implementation:

Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP S4 HANA MM functional modules.

Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document the requirements.

Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements

As per business requirements, Design, customize, configure the functional module.

Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.

Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.

Functional consultant needs to work closed with Technical consultants on Interfaces, Custom objects and enhancements.

Act as liaison with Business user for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and resolve the problems.

2. Preparation of Functional specs;

Functional specifications preparation against business requirement document.

Ensure Business blue prints sync with current configuration.

Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.

3. Testing and validation:

Perform unit testing, integration testing and support user acceptance testing to ensure working as expected functionalities of SAP functional modules.

4. Training and Documentation:

Conduct periodic refresh training sessions to end users on respective modules.

Prepare the User manual document whenever new Implementation or Changes in existing process to easily understanding end users.

5. Support and maintenance:

Provide regular support for successful running of SAP functional modules.

Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues

Ensure the documentation for SAP system is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant.

Candidate desired skills:

6+ years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support

Strong knowledge in designing and configuring the functional modules and knowledge of the key integration points between the SAP modules

Good pharmaceutical business understanding including business processes for effective maintenance of SAP system.

Good understanding of GMP and 21 CFR Part-11 compliance requirements.

Ability to understand business processes from a business owner perspective.

Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Strong understanding of business processes.
