JOB SUMMARY
- As an SAP Basis Administrator at Apple, you will be responsible for managing SAP landscapes and databases to ensure system scalability, availability, performance, infrastructure security, and software lifecycle management. Your role will involve architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting highly available and scalable enterprise solutions that match Apple’s volumes. You will be part of a global technical team overseeing complete SAP solutions and will need to adapt quickly to dynamic environments, learn new technologies, and develop elegant solutions to complex problems
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- – Coordinate with different teams for installation, maintenance, and upgrades of HANA systems – Support HANA systems throughout the lifecycle of projects – Ensure integrity of HANA databases with appropriate security settings – Proactively monitor and tune performance of large HANA systems – Provide technical upgrades, functional, and technical enhancements – Deliver training and knowledge transfer for the team – Solve problems related to connectivity, web services, and overall aspects of the SAP solution – Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations team, and service providers – Understand SAP HANA on-premise and cloud environment – Commit to continuous improvement as a team member
