Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant for our Product-based client. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) modules, with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA. This role involves supporting implementations, upgrades, and ongoing operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP MM implementations, upgrades, and runtime initiatives.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Configure SAP MM (procurement, inventory management, invoice verification) and WM (warehouse structure, storage types, transfer orders).
- Integrate MM/WM with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, and QM.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
- Conduct system testing, user training, and support go-live activities.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP MM/WM issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA innovations and best practices in supply chain and warehouse management.

Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM modules.
- Minimum 3 full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, and warehouse processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Expertise in SAP MM and WM modules.

Technical Competencies
- SAP ERP MM with GST and WM; integration with PP/FI/SD.
- Scheduling agreements in SAP MM – Purchasing component and JIT.

- Logistics Execution (Shipping).
- IDoc error handling and EDI confirmations (ASNs).
- Interface handling between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- SAP certification in MM or WM (preferred).
- Knowledge of SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Fiori apps and SAP Activate methodology.
- Agile project experience.
